Mumbai: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that 10 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Telangana today, out of which the total number of cases in the state was 59.
A total of 724 positive cases of COVID-19 have been found in India, including 47 foreign nationals, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Friday.
17 persons have lost their lives due to this disease in the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced a 21-day lockout across the country from midnight to combat the spread of coronavirus, saying “social disturbances” are the only option to fight the disease, which spreads rapidly.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of people who tested positive for coronavirus increased to 724 on Friday.
