10 New COVID19 Cases Reported In Andaman And Nicobar, Tally Rose To 4,046

Mumbai: A health official said that the COVID-19 tally of Andaman and Nicobar Islands increased to 4,046 on Thursday as 10 more people tested positive for infection.

He said three new patients had a travel history, while seven new infections were found during contact.

The official said that fourteen more people have been cured of the disease, taking the total number of recoveries in the archipelago to 3,796.

He said that there are 195 active COVID-19 cases in the Union Territory, while 55 patients have died due to infection so far.

The official said that the administration has so far sent 71,624 samples for COVID-19 tests, of which 71,620 reports have been received and four are awaited, the official said.
