11 IPS Officers Transferred By Karnataka Government

Mumbai: On Thursday, the Karnataka state government posted senior IPS officer Amar Kumar Pandey as Additional DGP (Law & Order).

As per an order issued by the state government, 11 transfers were made by the government on Thursday. M Chandra Shekar, who was previously the IGP, CID and Economic Offences, Bengaluru, will be moved to the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Bengaluru. B Dayananda, who was until now the IGP, Intelligence, Bengaluru, has been posted as IGP, Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP).

SN Siddaramappa has been posted as Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department, Bengaluru as the post was vacant. Chetan Singh Rathore has been posted as DCP, Central Division, Bengaluru.

DIGP and Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru, Sandeep Patil, and DCP, Law and Order, Mangaluru Hanumantharaya, two IPS officers who were Investigating the case of Café Coffee day VG Siddhartha were also transferred.

The Commissioner for Transport & Road Safety VP Ikkeri has been transferred in concurrent charge of the post of Additional Secretary to Chief Minister, Chief Minister Secretariat, Bengaluru.
