Mumbai: A health department official said at least 112 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Tripura on Wednesday.
He said that the number of deaths of another patient due to infection increased to 329.
West Tripura district, of which the state capital Agartala is a part, has accounted for 174 of 329 COVID-19 deaths.
The official said that twenty-three patients have moved to other states.
Altogether 265 people were discharged from GV Pant Hospital on Tuesday, which is the main referral facility for COVID-19 patients in the state.
As many as 4,38,337 samples have been tested for the infection in the northeastern state so far, he added.
