12 New COVID-19 Cases In J-K; Number Rises To 983

Mumbai: Officials said twelve more people were tested for coronovirus in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, taking the number of such cases to 983.

“On Thursday, 12 new positive cases of coronovirus were detected in the central region,” officials said.

He said that eight cases are from Kashmir Valley, while four are from Jammu region.

Officials said that the total number of cases in Jammu and Kashmir has now reached 983.
He said, 882 of these are in Kashmir, while 101 are in Jammu region.

Officials said that 4 cases in the union territory are active cases – 75 in Kashmir and 42 in Jammu – while 4 patients have recovered. UT has so far seen 11 COVID-19 related deaths.
