Mumbai: Following an increase in the number of crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi slammed the Yogi Aadityanath government. Alleging that 13 horrific incidents of crimes against women have taken place in the last one week, Priyanka said that the Chief Minister does not have time to do a special session on women’s safety, but there is time for a photo session.
Earlier in the day, the Congress leader took to Twitter and said, “In the last one week, there have been 13 horrific incidents of crime against women in UP. According to the reports, in 4 incidents the victim was killed or the victim committed suicide. This state of female safety is disturbing. The CM does not have time to organize a ‘special session’ on it, but yes the session is on. ”
pic.twitter.com/FDW9NppDmI

In her tweet, the leader also presented a chart of various incidents of crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh from 9 to 15 October, alleging that the BJP is giving protection to criminals and this has made women in the state vulnerable.
She has previously attacked the government on the law and order situation. The Congress general secretary, who is in charge of the party’s Uttar Pradesh affairs, has launched a major attack on the government since the Hathras gangrape case.
