14 New Coronavirus Cases In Dharavi, Tally 2,282
Mumbai: A senior Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said coronavirus cases in Mumbai’s Dharavi area increased to 2,282 on Wednesday, with 14 new patients reported.
However, the civic body did not disclose the number of COVID-19-related deaths in the region, known as Asia’s largest slum.
The BMC official said that the number of coronavirus cases active in the area is 535 as 1,618 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Dharavi, 21 and 19 new coronovirus cases were found on Wednesday in the neighbouring Dadar and Mahim areas, which also fall in the G-North ward.
