15 New COVID19 Cases Reported In Andaman, Tally Rose To 4,656

Mumbai: A health official said that the COVID-19 tally of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands increased to 4,656 on Tuesday as 15 more people tested positive for the infection.

He said three new patients had a travel history, while 12 infections were found during contact infection.

The officer said that thirteen more people have been cured.

He said there are now 142 active coronavirus cases in the archipelago, while 4,453 people have recovered from the disease and 61 patients have died due to infection.

Officially stated that the administration has so far sent 1,18,654 samples for COVID-19 tests, of which 1,18,566 reports have been received and 88 are awaited.
