17-Yr-Old B’luru Girl Gets Boyfriend, 3 Friends To Kill Father Who Allegedly Abused Her
The daughter committed the crime with her boyfriend and 3 friends at 12:30am in the night
Mumbai: A 17-year-old Bengaluru girl allegedly killed her own father after seeking help from her boyfriend and his three friends. She accused her father of sexual harassment.
The now-deceased father aged 46 belonged to Bihar and was a resident of Attur Layout married to a Kalaburagi woman. They had two daughters, the younger daughter was 11-year-old and went to school, while the elder daughter is a PU student at Yelahanka.
The victim’s wife went to Kalaburagi that night, leaving two daughters and their father only in the house. According to the police, four of the accused arrived at the house at 12:30 am and knocked on the door, the Times of India reported.
The elder daughter who sought help from her boyfriend opened the door and he attacked the father. All the accused fled from the spot, while the younger sister woke up and screamed. At around 1:30 am, both the sisters alerted the neighbours about the incident claiming that their father was attacked by unidentified people, TOI reported.
Till the time Yelahanka New Town police arrived, they found the father lying in a pool of blood. Police said that he was hit with a hammer multiple times and was hacked to death. After thorough interrogation, the girl said to the police that her friends had killed her father.
She said that her father sexually abused her. The mother of the accused girl has also supported her claim, the police said.
Police had recovered weapons from the four assailants and are also investigating the claims put by the daughter on her father.
All the four accused and the girl are minors, thus, will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board for further legal proceedings.
