20,000 Quarantined Homes Under Watch, 2,500 Food Distribution Centres To Be Established In Delhi: LG

Mumbai: Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal announced on Tuesday that the Delhi government was closely monitoring over 20,000 houses in the national capital, which have been identified for domestic quarantine.

Baijal said the food distribution centers in Delhi will be increased to 2500 to ensure that social balance is “effectively followed”.

According to Baijal, these measures were decided in a daily meeting organized through video conferencing with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Chief Secretary.

Baijal’s tweet states that it has been decided to increase the number of food distribution centers from 500 to 2500 so that social disturbances can be effectively followed. Home quarantine should be strictly monitored. The GNCTD has identified more than 20,000 homes for domestic quarantine.
