229 New COVID19 Cases In Odisha, State Tally Reaches 7,545

Mumbai: The state government said on Thursday that 229 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Odisha.

The total number of positive cases in the state is 7545, including 2157 active cases and 5353 recoveries.

Twenty-seven patients have died due to the infectious virus.

ICMR said on Thursday that till July 1, more than 90 lakh COVID-19 tests were conducted by various laboratories across the country.

In addition, 2,29,588 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

ICMR said, “The total number of samples tested as of July 1 is 90,56,173, of which 2,29,588 samples were tested yesterday.”

Meanwhile, India’s COVID-19 tally broke the mark of 6 lakh cases with 19,148 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday.

The total cases are now 6,04,641, of which 2,26,947 are active cases, while 3,59,860 patients have been cured / discharged / migrated.
