24-Year-Old Unnao Rape Survivor, Who Was Set On Ablaze, Dies
Mumbai: The 24-year-old Unnao rape survivor, who was set on ablaze by five men dies at Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital.
Dr. Shalabh Kumar, HOD (burns and plastic), Safdarjung Hospital said, “She suffered cardiac arrest at 11:10 pm and we tried to resuscitate her, but she could not survive and at 11:40 pm she died.”

The girl was set on fire in the Unnao area of Bihar when she was going to a Rae Bareli court. The survivor was released by the five accused. After the incident, locals rushed to rescue the survivors and took him to Unnao Civil Hospital.
On Thursday, the survivor was given initial treatment and in the evening she was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment.
