2,68,833 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In India, Positivity Rate Rises To 16.66%
Mumbai: As many as 2,68,833 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in India, with the daily positivity rate rising to 16.66%. Active COVID-19 cases in India stand at 14,17,820
According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry today, in the last 24 hours, 1,22,684 have been cured in the country, while the active cases have increased to 14,17,820.
The daily positivity rate is 16.66 per cent, data updated at 8 am.
So far, 6,041 confirmed cases of Omicron have been reported across the country, the ministry said.
The fresh cases and fatalities took the country’s COVID tally to 3,68,50,962 and the death toll to 4,85,752.
As per the ministry, over 1,56,02,51,117 crore COVID vaccine doses have been administered across the country so far.
