3 Held For Smuggling Tiger Parts In Maharashtra

Mumbai: An official said to PTI that three people have been arrested in connection with the smuggling of tiger parts in Nagpur district of Maharashtra.

While taking action on information, the forest department arrested the accused on Sunday from a temple of Ramtek and seized the tiger’s limbs from him, a huge siege, additional forest guardian, told PTI.

Meanwhile, the moustache of the Tiger was found along with them, the three disclosed about other tiger parts kept in their original place in Madhya Pradesh, after which it was seized from Chhindwara, Borhait said.

The official said that the accused have been identified as Ramdas Bhangu Chauhan (35), Tarasingh Shivprasad Rathore and Bhimk Singh Singh Jitsingh Rathod (31).

The official said that the three were presented in court on Monday.
