Babbar was attacked and stabbed at least six times and was found lying in a pool of blood near his house in Dwarka.
Delhi Police has arrested alleged stalker Ankit Gaba (25) and two others Manish and Himanshu in connection with the case.
According to several reports, Babbar had left the house at around 11:30 pm to attend a friend’s cake cutting ceremony at Om Vihar in Uttam Nagar. She had reportedly told her family that she would be back in an hour.

We informed the family and rushed the woman to a hospital, where she was declared dead. We spoke to neighbours who said they had seen a man, identified as Ankit Gaba (25), attacking her with a knife. We were told he had proposed to her earlier,” senior police told The Indian Express.
