3 New COVID-19 Cases In Mizoram, Tally Rises To 4,366

Mumbai: On Saturday, an official said three more individuals tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram.

He said that two fresh cases have come from Aizawl district, while one case is from Hnahthial district.

He said a couple with COVID-19 were traced to a private hospital through rapid antigen test, while employees of a construction company, who had returned from Jharkhand, were traced through the TrueNet test.

Female patients developed symptoms of COVID-19, while two male patients were asymptomatic.

The official said that there are now 39 active COVID-19 cases in the state, while 4,318 people have recovered from the virus.

So far, nine people have died in the state due to COVID-19. Mizoram has so far tested 2,05,976 samples for COVID-19, including 734 on Friday.

The COVID-19 recovery rate in the state is 98.90 per cent, while the infection rate is 2.12 per cent.
