Mumbai: On Sunday morning, four people were injured when 13 containers of Tapti-Ganga Express train derailed near Gautam Asthana in Chhapra of Bihar. There is no information on any casualties so far.
The cause of the accident has not been detected yet. Relief and rescue work continues.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over the train accident in Bihar. The Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government had announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. The CM of Bihar had expressed grief over the incident of the derailment and instructed the administration to provide all kinds of assistance.
