52 New COVID19 Positive Cases Reported In Andaman And Nicobar Island

Mumbai: Authorities said on Monday that more than fifty people tested positive for COVID-19 in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

He said that out of 52 new cases, 45 were detected during local contact tracing and seven at the airport.

In the last 24 hours at least 110 people were recovered from COVID-19, totaling 1,963.

Officials said that out of a total of 2,860 COVID-19 cases, 864 are active, 1,963 people have died from the disease, and 33 have died.

Meanwhile, with a single-day spike of 61,408 infections, India’s COVID-19 tally breached the 31-lakh mark, a day after it crossed 30 lakh, while recoveries surged to 23,38,035 pushing the recovery rate to over 75 per cent.

The COVID-19 case fatality rate has declined to 1.85 per cent while the recovery rate has risen to 75.27 per cent.
