The incident took place at Shahdol railway station late on Sunday night. The deceased Manoj Nema was working as a teacher in a private school.

Government Railway Police Assistant Sub-Inspector Jethu Singh said that he was going to Sagar by Durg-Ajmer train on Sunday night when an unknown person asked for his mobile phone and that someone should be called immediately.
