61-Year-Old Man Dies While Having Intercourse In Mumbai Hotel

Mumbai: A 61-year-old man died in a hotel in Mumbai’s Kurla on Monday while having sexual intercourse with a 40-year-old woman he claimed was his partner, a police official said.

The cause of the death was not immediately known.

According to the official, the deceased checked in at a hotel in suburban Kurla around 10 am with a 40-year-old woman whom he claimed to be his lover.

After some time the woman contacted the hotel reception and told them that the man had fainted and was unresponsive he said.

The Kurla police station official said the hotel staff immediately informed the local police, who admitted the elderly man to a civil hospital in Sion, where he was declared brought dead before admission.

The woman was later taken to Kurla police station and questioned.

The officer said she told the police that the man was a resident of Worli and worked in a private firm.

During the intercourse, he tried drinking alcohol but fell unconscious, he said, quoting the woman.

“On the basis of preliminary information we have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the case and are awaiting his medical report to know the exact cause of the death and also to find out if he had consumed any tablet before the act,” the official said
