6,534 New COVID19 (+) Cases Reported In Last 24hrs In India, Tally Reaches 1,45,380
Mumbai: There have been 6,535 more coronavirus cases in India in the last 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country being 1,45,380, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported on Tuesday.
In total, at present, there are 80,722 active cases in the country. So far, 60,490 people have recovered/discharged and 4,167 people have died due to fatal infection.
According to data compiled by the Center, Maharashtra has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases across the country with 52,667 people so far.
The number of cases in Tamil Nadu has increased to 17,082. While 14,460 cases of infection have been reported in Gujarat so far.
There are 14,073 cases of coronavirus in the national capital.
