8-Yr-Old Girl Raped In Delhi’s Badarpur Area, Accused Apprehended

Mumbai: A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl in South East Delhi’s Badarpur area, police said on Thursday. The victim and the accused reportedly lived in the same house as tenants.

“A 32-year-old man was arrested for raping an 8-year-old girl in South East Delhi’s Badarpur area. Both lived as tenants in the same house. According to the police, the minor victim lived with her mother in a rented house in Delhi’s Badarpur area where other tenants were also staying. Also Read: 32-Year-Old Man Rapes Wife Along With His Friend In Pune; Booked

Police said, “The girl’s father got separated two years ago and her mother works in a factory. After reaching home on Wednesday evening, her mother observed scratch marks on her daughter’s body and she was scared. Further, the mother informed the police about this heinous incident, after which the police admitted the victim to the hospital for medical examination.

The police have arrested the accused by registering a case under the POSCO Act.
