85 New COVID-19 Cases In Ladakh; Number Rises To 932

Mumbai: Officials said Union Territory of Ladakh on Tuesday registered 85 new COVID-19 cases, bringing it to 932, while 12 patients recovered from the disease and were later discharged from the hospital.

The health department said 65 people tested positive for coronovirus in Kargil district, while 20 others came positive for the infection in Leh district.

One person has died of coronavirus, while 148 others, including 80 in Leh, have so far recovered from the disease. These included 12 patients who were discharged at a COVID hospital in Leh on Tuesday.

Officials said that with 85 new cases, the number of active cases in Ladakh has risen to 783 – 622 in Kargil and 161 in Leh.

He said that the condition of all 783 positive patients is stable.
