Mumbai: According to the police, a 51 years old woman has been arrested for allegedly running a sex racket at her residence in suburban Kandivali.
On receiving a specific input, crime branch Unit 11 officials sent a decoy customer at the flat on Saturday and conducted a raid, an official said.
Three women have been rescued from the flat.
The woman used to send photographs of women to customers through a social messaging application and call them at her residence in sector 2 of Charkop, according to the police.
Police have recovered Rs 28,000 and 12 mobile phones from the accused, adding that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
