Kejriwal Promises to Take Demand For Full Statehood Forward

Mumbai: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia released the AAP manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 on Thursday.

Arvind Kejriwal said while announcing the party’s headquarter with senior party leaders in the national capital, “The election of 2019 is to save the country, to save the constitution. We are the first Indian, then Hindu or Muslim.”

Arvind Kejriwal said that if AAP returns to power in the national capital, then it issues a manifesto for the demand for full state status. Arvind Kejriwal said that if Delhi is given full statehood, then in the national capital, 85 per cent reservation will be given to the students in the colleges.

During the announcement launch program, Delhi CM said, “Our unity is being challenged. The country can be saved only when we are not divided into lines of religion and race.”

Delhi will go to polls on May 12. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
