AAP To Contest All 68 Seats In Himachal Pradesh Elections In 2022

State party in-charge Ratnesh Gupta announced on Monday

Mumbai: Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party will contest all 68 seats in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections in 2022, the party’s state in-charge Ratnesh Gupta said.

“Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to contest all 68 seats in Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections in November 2022. This is the 6th state after Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Gujarat and Goa where AAP is contesting for Assembly elections,” said Gupta

AAP is seeking to expand its reach at the national level. The assembly polls are scheduled in November next year in the hill state.

For the past 30 years, Congress and BJP have alternately held power in Himachal Pradesh. This will be AAP’s electoral debut.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has already begun promising various welfare schemes to the people of these states, to ensure a victory at the polls.
