Mumbai: Veteran Mumbai all-rounder Abhishek Nayar has retired from all forms of cricket.
Abhishek has played first-class cricket for Mumbai and also represented Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Pune Warriors India and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
He played in his 100th first-class match in November 2018
“I am completely satisfied … there are so many cricketers who want to be where I am today. I can only be thankful that I got a chance to play for this long time … not regretting it at all.” .. I’m a happy man, “Nair told PTI on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old has played 103 first-class games, the bulk of them for Mumbai, and scored 5749 runs while taking 173 wickets.
Nayar represented India in only three ODIs but his record as a first-class player is more promising.
