Actress Honey Rose Accuses Businessman Of Stalking Her, Making Derogatory Remarks

Mumbai: Malayalam actress Honey Rose has accused an individual of stalking her and making sexually inappropriate remarks, including through media platforms, actions she claims have outraged her modesty.

In a Facebook post, Rose questioned whether it was acceptable for someone to insult a woman based on perceived superiority derived from wealth. However, she refrained from disclosing the identity of the accused.

According to Rose, the issue began after she accepted an invitation from the individual to attend an event as a guest. She alleged that her subsequent refusal to attend other events led to retaliatory insults.

She further accused the person of attending functions she participated in, using these occasions to make remarks intended to insult her modesty, often leveraging media platforms for this behavior.

Rose expressed concern over the apparent lack of legal protection against such acts, despite acknowledging that stalking and making sexually colored remarks are criminal offenses under the law. She stated that while she had initially ignored these comments with contempt and sympathy, her silence should not be mistaken for an inability to respond.

The actress, known for her work in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, highlighted the need for greater accountability and justice in cases involving harassment and inappropriate behavior.
