Adnan Sami welcomes Citizenship (Amendment) Bill

Mumbai: Singer Artist Adnan Sami welcomed the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and said that it is for protection of the people from persecution in theocratic states.

“The CAB Bill is for religions that are being persecuted in ‘Theocratic States’. Muslims have NOT persecuted 4 their religion in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Bangladesh because they are in majority over there. Muslims CAN still apply for Indian citizenship like before. All are welcome through the legal ‘Front Door’!” Sami tweeted from his official handle.
