After Devendra Fadnavis Resigns, Wife Amruta Fadnavis Promise A Comeback

Mumbai: Soon after husband Devendra Fadnavis stepped down as CM post of Maharashtra, Amrita Fadnavis wrote a farewell message were she promised to make her come back.

“Palat me aaungi shakhon pe khushbuye lekar, khija ki jad mein hoon, mausam jara badal ne de (I will come back with fresh fragrance…let the season change a bit),” Devendra Fadnvais’ wife Amruta tweeted from her handle on Tuesday night.

Thanking the citizens of Maharashtra she said, “Thanks Mah for memorable 5yrs as your Wahini. The love showered by you will always make me nostalgic! I tried to perform my role to best of my abilities-with desire only to serve & make a positive diff,” Amruta Fadnavis said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had on Tuesday quit, hours after Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar submitted his resignation. The resignations came barely 80 hours after they were sworn in on November 23.

Maharashtra will now have Shiv Sena Chief Minister after 20 years, but for the first time with Uddhav Thackeray as Chief Minister, Thackeray has been roped in to lead a Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress coalition government called the Maha Vikas Andolan is.
