Ajay Devgn’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ Declared Tax-Free In Haryana

Mumbai: The Haryana government declared the period-drama ‘Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior‘ tax-free in the state.
The film, starring Ajay Devgan, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan, was first made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

The biographical period film, ‘Tanaji – The Unsung Warrior’ is based on the heroic saga of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s courageous and devoted commander Tanhaji Malusare.

It shows Ajay Devgan fighting for the ‘Bhagwa’ (saffron) flag and ‘Swaraj’ (home-rule) and ‘Satya’ (truth) of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare.

It shows Tanaji Malusare’s principles ‘saffron’ (saffron) flag and fighting for ‘swaraj’ (home-rule) and ‘Satya’ (truth).
Kajol, who plays Tanhaji’s wife, Savitribai Malusare, is shown to be a strong character, who supports her in making firm decisions.

Saif Ali Khan, who plays the role of the antagonist, is as strong as Uday Bhan, a Rajput officer who works for the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

The period-drama is attracting wide acclaim among filmmakers and critics and has already mined Rs 100 crore.
