Akhilesh Yadav; Declares Will Fight Bypolls Alone Like Mayawati

Mumbai: Earlier, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati announced that she will be alone in the bye-elections of the state, after which Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also announced that SP will contest all the 11 seats on its own.

Akhilesh said that if the SP-BSP coalition broke down, then he would consider the situation. This statement was in reference to Mayawati’s decision to stop the coalition, pointing to the tension between the two parties.

“If the coalition is broken, then I will combine in the by-elections if I do not, then the Samajwadi Party will prepare for the elections. Akhilesh Yadav said that SP will fight all 11 seats alone.

After being declared by the Chief of Bahujan Samaj Party today, “Our relationship is not for politics only, it will continue forever.”

Addressing a press meet on Tuesday, Mayawati weighed behind her party to contest the elections alone in the by-election. He said, “This is not a permanent break.” If we feel in the future that SP chief succeeds in his political work, then we will work together again. But if he is not successful, then separate for us It would be good to work with that. Therefore we have decided to fight the by-elections alone.
