All Educational Institutions To Maintain Educational Schedule Through Online Learning Through Lockdown: MHA
Mumbai: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday issued revised guidelines on which sectors and industries would continue to operate during the lockdown imposed to include COVID-19.
As per the guidelines, all educational, training, coaching institutes will remain closed, however, these establishments are expected to maintain the educational schedule through online learning during the lockdown.
“To reduce hardship for the public, additional activities have been allowed to be selected which will come into effect from April 20, 2020. These limited exemptions are based on strict compliance with the existing guidelines for the States/ UTs/ District Administrations,” read the directive by the MHA.
“Doordarshan and other educational channels can be maximized for educational purposes,” read further.
Prime Minister Modi had announced the extension of the lockdown to an address named after the nation. And the 21-day lockdown that ended yesterday was extended to 3 May.
