All India Cine Workers Bans Mika Singh As Singer Performs In Karachi, Pakistan
Mumbai: In an unexpected move All Indian Cine Workers Association has banned and boycotted Singer Mika Singh from Indian film Industry for performing in Karachi, Pakistan.
In a press release, the film body said that it had decided to take a tough stand against the singer and that his association with film production houses, music companies and online music content providers had been boycotted. Mika is said to have performed at an event of a close relative of former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf on August 8.
AICWA requested Information and broadcasting ministry to intervene and act legally on the singer, it unfortunate that singers like Mika Singh put the profession above the national pride the statement added.
