All Indian Advertisements and Movies Banned In Pakistan

Mumbai: Ever since India has removed the special status of Jammu and Kashmir Pakistan had made banning every Indian thing the main objective since the past two weeks. The Special Assistant to Pakistan’s Prime Minister on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that they have cancelled all Indian advertisements.

“We have banned Indian advertisement and launched a crackdown on CD shops to confiscate Indian movies,” Firdous Awan said.

The Pakistani Prime minister along with the Indian shows has also suspended the travel services that include the Samjhauta Express and the Bus services between India and Pakistan. They have also downgraded diplomatic relations with India.

According to the letter, Pakistan will prohibit all the advertisements that showcase Indian models or Indian talent. They sent a list of products that are endorsed by Indian models or any actress. The products included Dettol Soap, Panteen shampoo, Knorr noodles, head and shoulder shampoo and other FMCG products. The letter states that only those advertisements can be aired that are made in Pakistan with Pakistani Models and actors.

Airing of any advertisement that includes Indian talent will be liable to punishment. This new rule comes because Indian modes on Pakistan aggravated the miseries of Pakistani who are perturbed over Indian atrocities on Kashmiri brethren.

India however, has already asked Pakistan to accept the reality that the abrogation of article 370 was an internal matter and that Pakistan’s interference was unnecessary.
