Mumbai: Telugu star Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film “Pushpa” is set to be released in two parts, the film’s makers have said.
The multilingual action-thriller features Red Sanders in the hills of Andhra and reflects a clearly defined nexus in the narrative of a man taken by Avarice.
The makers of the movie Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravishankar said that the first half of the film would be released on 13 August and the second instalment would come in 2022.
“The story and characters captured their lives and grew into an era that required the film to be released in two parts.
Yerneni and Shankar said in a statement on Thursday, “The enthusiasm we saw to introduce ‘Pushpa Raj’ was unprecedented and we are determined to take it to the next level by releasing the film as a duology. ”
The producers said that they are blessed to have top stars, actors and technicians for this film and are eager to give the audience a memorable experience in the theatre through this story.
Written and directed by Sukumar of “Arya” fame, the film will be released in Telugu along with Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
“Pushpa” will also feature Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead opposite Arjun.
The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media.
