Mumbai: Almost all the members of the ‘Bois Locker Room’ Instagram group have been identified and all of them will be examined, the Delhi Police Cyber Cell has said.
“A school student (a juvenile) has been apprehended in connection with the Boys Locker Room group case.
Almost all the group members (21) have been identified. All of them will be examined: Delhi Police Cyber Cell on Delhi schoolboys glorifying rape on an Instagram chatroom,” ANI reported.
“The mobile phone of the apprehended student has been recovered and it is also being examined,” it added.

Earlier in the day, a 15-year-old was apprehended by Delhi Police Cyber Cell in connection with Bois Locker Room Instagram chat group.
The officer said, “In their complaint, the school authorities requested the police to investigate the incident. Police, using technical surveillance, obtained the registered number of a 15-year-old man who allegedly shared a photo on the group. His phone was switched off. After finding his address, he was apprehended on Monday evening..”
Police have so far found that some students from schools in South Delhi formed an Instagram group in the last week of March and started adding their friends. “Some members are in college. Some teen allegedly started sharing photos posted by schoolgirls on their Instagram account, and passed sexually explicit comments, ”an official said, adding that the alleged chat also included threats of sexual violence.
The group named ‘Bois Locker Room’ had been shared widely on Twitter and Instagram on Sunday. The Cyber Cell then took suo moto cognizance of the matter and filed an FIR.
The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief, Swati Maliwal also took notice of the group and issued notices to the Delhi Police as well as Instagram. She said that all the culprits should be arrested to give a tough message.
