He attacked the grand old party saying that they are only there present when elections are around the corner

Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that Congress never fulfils the promises made to the people & cannot do any welfare work for Uttarakhand.

“Congress turns back on its promises…earlier when I came here during Congress govt, some ppl met me & told me that on Friday there is permission to block Highway & do Namaz there. Congress only does appeasement and can’t do any welfare work for Uttarakhand,” HM Amit Shah.

“I challenge Harish Rawat Ji (former CM & Congress leader) to an open debate on the promises made and fulfilled by Congress and BJP in their respective election manifestos. The BJP has fulfilled around 85% of promises made in its manifesto,” he added.

“The Congresspeople could not be been seen during COVID19, floods in the state. But when elections are near they emerge and start doing press conferences,” said Union Home Minister.

The Minister announced that Prime Minister Narender Modi is going to visit Kedarnath Dham on 5th November.

“He will inaugurate an idol of Adi Shankaracharya there,” he added.
