An Accused In Connection With Pregnant Elephant’s Death Arrested
Mumbai: The Kerala police have arrested an accused who is believed to have a connection with the Elephant’s death, as per the ANI.
Kerala Forest Minister, K. Raju has confirmed the arrest. However, the name of the accused has not been disclosed.
The arrest comes after Prakash Javadekar, the Environment Minister, claimed serious actions against the Elephant killers.
A pregnant Elephant died standing in a river in the Palakkad district of Kerala. The elephant fed on pineapple stuffed with crackers, that was allegedly placed by the locals as per the reports.
