Mumbai: Actress Ananya Panday skipped Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) questioning today in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, reports said. She has requested NCB for a further date due to personal commitments, reports added.
The agency has also accepted Panday’s request and will be issuing a fresh date.
Pandey’s name cropped up in the Mumbai Drug Party case after the NCB busted a drug-related WhatsApp chat with accused Aryan Khan.
Pandey last appeared before the NCB on Friday, where he was late. When asked about the chats where she reportedly agreed to arrange banned content for Khan, Pandey denied supplying or consuming the drugs. NCB seized Pandey’s laptop and mobile phone for questioning.
On Thursday, the NCB went to Shah Rukh Khan’s residence and Wankhede clarified that the agency was there to collect documents. The NCB official added, “Please don’t call this a raid or search. ”
Aryan Khan and seven others were arrested after the NCB raided a cruise party held off the Mumbai coast and recovered drugs.
