Anarchist Kejriwal, Separatist Forces Trying To Enter HP Together: Tejasvi Surya

Mumbai: BJP leader Tejasvi Surya on Sunday reacted to the Khalistan flags incident in Himachal Pradesh and called AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal an “anarchist”.

Calling the Delhi CM “anarchist Kejriwal”, Surya said that what happened was “not a coincidence.”

“Not a coincidence that Anarchist Kejriwal and separatist forces are trying to enter Himachal Pradesh together. Himachal must identify and isolate such forces of destruction. We don’t want incitement and violence in the State. Punjab’s social fabric is already suffering,” tweeted Bengaluru South Lok Sabha MP.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur condemned the incident following reports that Khalistani flags were found hanging in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly. The CM termed it a cowardly incident on Twitter and said that strict action would be taken against the culprits.

“Himachal is a cordial state and peace should prevail here. The culprits involved in the Dharamsala incident will be caught soon wherever they are. The cowardice of those people will not last long. Certainly, strict action will be taken against the perpetrators of this incident,” tweeted Thakur.

Dharamsala sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) Shilpi Bekta said the matter was being probed and added that the incident was a “wake up call” to act with greater vigilance.

“We are probing the matter and a case will be registered under relevant sections of the Himachal Pradesh Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1985. This is like a wake-up call for us to work with more alertness,” ANI quoted Beakta as saying.

Kangra Superintendent of Police on his part said that it might have been put up late at night or early Sunday morning.

“We have removed the Khalistani flags from the Vidhan Sabha gate. It could be an act of some tourists from Punjab. We are going to register a case today,” he told ANI.
