Mumbai: The state health department said on Friday that 1,608 more people tested positive for COVID-19, a coronavirus tally, in the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh.
Of the total cases, the state has 11,936 active cases, while 981 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, with the total number of discharged patients being 13,194.
In the last 24 hours, 15 deaths have been reported – two each in Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, Krishna and Kurnool districts, and one each in Nellore, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, and West Godavari districts, with the total number of deaths. Was 292. To COVID-19.
