Mumbai: For the first time in more than four months, Andhra Pradesh reported fewer than 1,000 new cases of coronavirus on a single day on Monday.
In the 24 hours ending at 9 am on Monday, 43,044 sample tests revealed 753 new cases of COVID-19 in the state.
The latest bulletin states that 1,507 patients were recovered, while 13 succumbed to coronavirus in 24 hours.

The states COVID-19 table now showed 8,54,764 total confirmed positives, 8,29,991 recoveries and 6,881 deaths.
The Bulletin stated that there were 17,892 active cases.

After a sum of 91.97 lakh sample tests, the overall infection positivity rate in the state fell to 9.29 percent.
