Anu Malik Suffers Multiple Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct, Asked To Leave A Show

Pune : The Metoo movement has now taken turns towards Any Malik as not one but many sexual harassment complaints have came up.

Veteran singer Alisha Chinoy had been one of them who has claimed she experienced problems as Anu Malik misbehaved with her. Many other singers like Sona Mohapatra, Shweta Pandit and Caralisa Monteiro have came up with allegations against the composer accusing Anu Malik of his sexual harassment towards them. Alisha, who’s song “Made in India” gained lots of ears, quoted to Deccan Chronicles saying, “Every word said and written about Anu Malik is true. I stand by all the women who have finally spoken up. May they find peace and closure in their lives.”

Although this should also be noted that Anu Malik was already reported by Alisha back in 1990 for his sexual misbehavior. The singer filed a case asking for a compensation fine of ₹26.60 lakhs as an apology for this but somehow Malik declined from all the allegations made on him and Chinoy was backfired with a fine of ₹2 crore for defamation. After this both the singers never worked with each other and Alisha also went disappeared from the industry all these days. This has even led to Any Malik to step down as the judge of the reality TV show Indian Idol recently. But #Metoo movement has some strong grips and is hence catching many names from the industry.
