Arunachal Pradesh Reports 210 Fresh COVID Cases, State Tally Rose To 7,595

Mumbai: A health department official said that the COVID-19 rally in Arunachal Pradesh increased to 7,595 on Tuesday as 210 more people including 13 security personnel tested the disease.

The Capital Complex area recorded the most new cases on 101, followed by Changlang on 18, Pakke Kesang on 12, Lower Siang on 11 and West Siang on 10, with state surveillance officer Dr. Lobsang Jampa said.

“Eight cases were reported in East Siang and Papampare, eight in Tawang, seven in Longding, five in Upper Subansiri, three in Upper Siang, West Kameng, Kurung Kumey and Namsai, one each in Lepra, Lower Subansiri and East Kameng and two. Each of the Lower Dibang Valley and Anjav districts,” he said.

He said that except 29, all are asymptomatic and have been shifted to COVID Care Center.

Jampa said at least 235 people were cured of the infection and discharged from hospitals on Monday, with a total number of 5,643.

He said that the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in the state is 74.29 percent.

Arunachal Pradesh now has 1,939 active coronavirus cases, while 13 patients have died.

A total of 3,350 people, including 466 security personnel, have been diagnosed with the disease since September 1, while 2,621 have been cured, the official said.

He said that the state has so far tested over 2.25 lakh samples for COVID-19, including 2,899 on Monday.
