Arvind Kejriwal Has Done PhD In Lying: Anil Vij On Water Crisis In Delhi

Talking about a possible third wave of COVID, Vij said that the state is alert for a possible third wave of coronavirus and has made all preparations

Mumbai: After the Delhi government blamed Haryana for the national capital’s water shortage, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has done a “PhD in lying”.

Vij alleged that Kejriwal had kept surplus oxygen and lied about it even during the COVID period and is once again making false allegations against Haryana regarding water distribution.

Vij said during the press conference, ‘Haryana is continuously supplying 1049 cusecs of water to Delhi through Munak canal and the Chief Minister of Delhi has against Haryana by misleading the people of Delhi to hide the internal malpractices and failures of his government.”

The Home Minister admitted that there was a water shortage due to the delay in monsoon, but said that Haryana is giving more water to Delhi than its share. “Despite the scarcity of water, Haryana is managing it on its own,” he said.

Talking about a possible third wave of COVID, Vij said that the state is alert for a possible third wave of coronavirus and has made all preparations.

Also, we have learned from the gap between the first and second waves of COVID and have arranged for the third wave accordingly. There was a shortage of oxygen during the second wave of covid, so we directed all the civil hospitals in the state to set up oxygen plants so that the possible third wave could be dealt with efficiently.

He also said that the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts of the state have been directed to visit the hospitals and do a reality check with respect to the functioning of oxygen beds, ICU beds and ventilators and to plug any shortfalls.

Apart from this, Vij has instructed the officials to supply piped gas to every bed. Vij also commented on the farmers movement and said that everyone has the right to agitate peacefully, conduct procedures and go on hunger strike, however, if anyone commits violence under the guise of agitation, legal action will be taken against the offender.
