Arvind Kejriwal Says All Opposition Leaders Will Be In Jail If BJP Wins

Mumbai: On Saturday, May 11, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, announced that all opposition leaders, including his colleague from West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, Uddhav Thackeray, and Tejashvi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, will be in jail if the BJP-led NDA wins the Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to his supporters at the AAP headquarters in Delhi, Kejriwal predicted that the INDIA bloc will form the government on June 4 and that the BJP will not win back control of the government.
“In the last 20 hours after release from jail, I talked to poll experts and people and got to know the BJP is not going to form the government,” said the AAP leader.
“The AAP will be part of the government at the Centre. We will get full statehood for Delhi,” he added.
Arvind Kejriwal questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “These people ask INDIA bloc about their face,” in response to the latter’s vote-seeking stunt for Union Minister Amit Shah. Who will be the PM for the BJP, may I ask?
Speaking on the BJP’s decree that those who turned 75 would retire, he remarked, “September of next year will mark Modi ji’s 75th birthday. People who turned 75 would automatically retire, according to his edict. LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and Sumitra Mahajan were retired.
“He (PM Modi) will retire next year,” the AAP leader inquired further. In order to install Amit Shah as prime minister, he is asking for votes. Will Shah follow through on Modiji’s promise? In addition, Kejriwal asserted that the BJP would replace the Uttar Pradesh chief minister in less than two months if it were to win power.
On May 10, the Supreme Court granted Arvind Kejriwal temporary bail following his 50-day incarceration in Tihar jail. The BJP has called for his resignation while he was incarcerated.
He elaborated, saying, “The Chief Minister’s post is not important to me,” when asked why he chose not to step down. I did not resign from my position as CM because there was a plot to have me quit over a spurious matter.
Attacking the BJP and PM Narendra Modi, the Delhi CM said all “thieves and dacoits” are inducted by the party. “If the prime minister wants to learn about fighting corruption, he should learn from Arvind Kejriwal. We sent corrupt to jail and even our (AAP) own ministers,” he added.
