Arvind Kejriwal Slams Government For Denying Permission For His Visit To Denmark

Mumbai: As External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar denied permission for Delhi CM to visit C-40 Climate Summit at Copenhagen, Denmark, Kejriwal slammed the BJP government.

The permission was denied by the delegation to eight members and CM Arvind Kejriwal to fly to Copenhagen to be part of the event, saying that clearance from “political angel” has been denied and the conference is meant for Mayors, not for Chief Ministers.

Speaking with ANI in New Delhi, Kejriwal said, “Recently, I was invited to Denmark to talk about work done by the Delhi government for reducing air pollution. These (BJP) people did not let me go. One of their ministers said it is a mayor-level conference, why is Kejriwal going? What can we do if their mayor is not invited?.”

Meanwhile, Kejriwal addressed the C40 Climate Change Summit via video conference and also talked about the solutions to tackle air pollution.
