Assam Reports 146 New COVID19 Cases
Mumbai: Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the codes-19 tally rose to 2,14,165 on Wednesday after 146 new cases of infection were detected from different parts of the state.
The death toll from the Dibrugarh district rose to 998 with another person suffering from the disease.
The minister said that 178 patients were cured by COVID-19 in the day and the total number of people treated was 2,09,622.

The number of currently active patients is 3,542, he said, adding that three patients have gone out of state.
A total of 28,896 samples were tested for coronavirus on Wednesday, with the number of such trials up to 55,40,330 including both rapid antigen and RT-PCR testing.
