Assam Reports 20 New COVID19 Cases

Mumbai: According to the official bulletin, Assam reported 20 new COVID-19 cases on Friday.

The state has registered 2,17,091 cases of COVID-19 so far. No deaths were reported during the day. Altogether 1,081 people have died in the state.

Six new cases were reported from Kamrup Metropolitan and Golaghat and six each from Dibrugarh and Hailakandi districts.

A total of 16,483 samples were tested for COVID-19 during the day. Currently, there are 609 active cases in the state.

A total of 102 patients were discharged on the day. While 2,14,504 patients have been recovered, three of them went out of state.

According to the Bulletin, a total of 8,014 health workers were given the COVID-19 vaccine during the day, with a total of 36,932 vaccinated individuals.

Four minor cases of adverse events (AEFI) were reported from Barpeta and one each from Dibrugarh and Chirang districts.
